  12. 1 tsp coriander powder
  13. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

  15. 1 tbsp bajra flour + 2 tbsp water = paste
  16. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  17. For tadka:
  18. 2 tbsp ghee
  19. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  20. 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  21. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

Steps to make to make Green Moong Dal Palak

  1. #Ingredients:
  2. Wash the moong dal and palak properly. Add 1 ½ cup water.
  3. Add salt and turmeric powder.
  4. Pressure cook for 2– 3 whistles.
  5. Once dal get cooked keep it aside for cooling.
  6. Heat the oil and ghee in the kadai. Add ginger garlic and green chilli paste and saute 30 seconds.
  7. Now add onion and saute for 2-3 minutes. Now add turmeric powder and coriander powder.
  8. Now add red chilli powder and water and mix well and add into the boiled dal palak.
  9. Now heat the dal palak in the cooker. When dal is boiling add bajra & water paste and mix well. Now add garam masala powder and mix well.
  10. Now heat the ghee in the tadka pan add cumin seeds.
  11. When seeds are splutter add asafoetida and red chili powder and mix.
  12. Now 1/2 tadka add to the boiled dal and mix.
  13. Now garnish Green Moong Dal Palak with rest 1/2 tadka and serve with makki methi ka paratha gud and green chutney.
